On this visit, I picked up two clones for bonsai use at home: Nori Cake and Mango Haze. The visit also doubled as a planning meeting for a cannabis bonsai session at the Nuanchan shop scheduled two weeks out, so leaving with plants in hand made the trip feel complete.

After the meeting wrapped, the staff recommended trying a freshly arrived batch of King Juice. Storage was handled with the care the brand is known for: opening the jar released the variety’s characteristic layering of floral, citrus, and earth all at once.

There is an outdoor chill area at the side of the store. On warm days, staff will set up a fan on request.

The King Juice was broken apart by hand, rolled with a bamboo filter made in-house, and shared outside with a friend who works in cannabis farming. The sativa character of the variety kept the conversation moving for the rest of the afternoon, and it was dark before either of us noticed the time.
